Take the official Corcovado Train up through Tijuca National Park to Christ the Redeemer. You get the train admission and monument access, but no guide. Allow a day, bring your passport or ID, and book an early time if you want fewer crowds.

Take an 8-minute ride in a four-person Banff Gondola cabin to Sulphur Mountain. Explore the Above Banff Interpretive Centre, walk the boardwalk to Sanson’s Peak, and use the rooftop deck for 360-degree views. Add coffee, a buffet, or dinner with a mountain view.

Spend about four hours among Plitvice’s turquoise lakes, waterfalls, caves, and forest paths on a guided day trip from Zadar. Start at the Columbia Icefield Discovery Centre for a guided Ice Explorer ride onto the 25,000-year-old Athabasca Glacier. You get about 20 minutes on the ice, glacier water, live English commentary, and a shuttle to the glass-bottomed Skywalk.

Book entry to Plitvice Lakes National Park and explore at your own pace. Your ticket covers the trails, boardwalks, panoramic shuttle buses, and electric boat across Kozjak Lake. Choose Entrance 1 or 2, arrive within 55 minutes of your time, and plan for hills, crowds, and lots of walking.
